We did it again!

A Great day of portraiture

I had such a great day today. I got to photograph the beginning of a new life for my friend, Paige, and I got to photograph our friend, Shannon. Paige owns a studio we’ve been shooting out of for the past few months, and Shannon is a very good friend of ours. As I’ve said so many time before, I love what I do for a living. Capturing moments, moments that are here for a heartbeat then gone, has to be one of the best things I can imagine. Christy’s off in L.A. shooting. We’ll post some of her work when she gets home.

Jan 2nd, 2010, Christy’s Willo Art shot yet another beautiful wedding. The ceremony was at St. Augustine in downtown Tucson, cocktails and reception followed at The Star Pass Resort. There are just too many great images to put here. If you would like to see the slideshow, click here.

Guess who I photographed the other day…

A couple weeks ago I ran into someone we all know and love. We got to talking, and next thing I knew I had him in front of my camera. Man, did we have fun. I don’t know if I’ve ever met such a happy guy. He left me feeling so… well, feeling so darn JOLLY!!!

Shannon and Edward

We stayed home to cover Shannon and Edward’s wedding here in Tucson, AZ. Beautiful reception outside under the stars. There are just some things about Arizona that are hard to beat. You can see their entire slideshow here.

Fun wedding in La Jolla a few weeks ago. We had a great couple, great weather, and a great location.

Lisa and Mark

It’s in the details

One of the things we feel is so important, and we really enjoy shooting, are the details. The little things that make up the day. It’s fun to look for the little things and create an image of something that might possibly have been seen as a part of the whole, but not appreciated as it’s own little work of art. We try hard to not let a single detail slip by us. Part of why we have so much fun doing what we do.
